Among the newly elected academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, there are 11 from the Department of Mechanical and Transportation Engineering, 10 from the Department of Information and Electronic Engineering, 8 from the Department of Chemical, Metallurgy and Materials Engineering, 9 from the Department of Energy and Mining Engineering, and 10 from the Department of Civil, Hydraulic and Construction Engineering.
