Did you know that the purine content in food can be roughly followed? Mastering the law of purine content in food and reasonably avoiding high-purine foods can reduce the formation of uric acid in the body, delay the process of hyperuricemia, and then slow down the high blood uric acid concentration.
Early hyperuricemia may be asymptomatic
But it can hide for ten years
The purine in the human body mainly comes from food intake, body production and nucleic acid decomposition, among which the level of purine intake from food is the main factor
Early hyperuricemia may be asymptomatic, and the main clinical manifestation is elevated blood uric acid, which is mostly found in physical examination, and can last for 10 years or even longer
Foods ranging from very low to very high purines
What are the representative foods
According to the level of purine content, foods can be divided into very low purine foods, low purine foods, medium purine foods, high purine foods, and extremely high purine foods
Among them, the purine content of most foods is less than 50mg/100g, such foods such as eggs, milk and dairy products are extremely low purine foods;
When the purine content in food reaches 50-100mg/100g, such foods such as fungi and some processed meats are low-purine foods;
When the purine content in the food reaches 100-200mg/100g, such foods such as dry beans, unprocessed meat, most processed meats, and most fish and aquatic products are classified as medium-purine foods;
When the purine content in food reaches 200-300mg/100g, such foods such as beef liver and pig liver are high purine foods;
When the purine content in food is higher than 300mg/100g, this type of food is animal food represented by animal offal, such as chicken liver and some seafood, which belong to extremely high purine food
According to the purine content of different foods
There are generally three rules
1.
The purine content of plant foods is significantly lower than that of animal foods, and the plant foods with higher purine content are mainly dried beans, mushrooms and beer
2.
The purine content of viscera is significantly higher than that of other foods
3.
The purine content of seafood is higher than that of meat and meat products, while the purine content of shellfish and shrimp is significantly higher than that of fish and crab
Through the above rules, the dietary structure should be adjusted to reduce the intake of high-purine foods (such as animal offal, seafood, etc.
