[China Epoxy Network (China Epoxy Industry Online)July 11, 2012: The pattern of the Asian petrochemical market has quietly changed-2012 held in Bangkok, Thailand on June 20-21 At the Asia Petrochemical Conference, petrochemical companies from Vietnam, the Middle East, Thailand and other countries stated that they have entered a period of concentrated release of new petrochemical production capacity in Asia, and the pattern of insufficient supply of petrochemical products in the region is quietly changing.
According to the person in charge of the Refining Department of the Vietnam Petrochemical Company, the company plans to invest 8 billion US dollars to build an integrated refining base in Vietnam, which will include an oil refinery and a set of chemical plants.

It is expected to be completed and put into operation in 2014.
In recent years, Vietnam’s economy has grown rapidly, and demand for refining and petrochemical products has soared.
