On January 10, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council solemnly held the National Science and Technology Awards Conference in Beijing.
The Ministry of Science and Technology today introduced the 2019 National Science and Technology Awards.
After review by the network review team, subject professional review team, review committee and award committee, a total of 296 projects and 12 technology experts were selected for the 2019 National Science and Technology Awards.
Among them, 46 are awarded by the National Natural Science Award, 65 are awarded by the National Technological Invention Award, and 185 are awarded by the National Science and Technology Progress Award.
Academician Huang Xuhua, honorary director of the 719 Institute of China State Shipbuilding Corporation, and Zeng Qingcun, academician of the Institute of Atmospheric Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, won the highest national science and technology award.
10 foreign experts won the People's Republic of China International Science and Technology Cooperation Award.
Among the 296 award-winning projects, 3 were fertilizer-related, 3 were related to the plant protection industry, 6 were related to the seed industry, and 7 were related to other planting industries.
The editor found that there are many agricultural companies in the award-winning projects.
