In order to curb the frequent occurrence of illegal discharge, dumping, and disposal of hazardous waste cases, protect the ecological environment, and protect the health of the people, recently, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, the Ministry of Public Security, and the Supreme People’s Procuratorate jointly issued the "Regarding the Severely Cracking Down on Illegal and Criminal Activities in the Hazardous Waste Environment" "Notice", decided to organize national ecological environment departments, public security organs, and procuratorial organs from July to November 2020 to launch activities to severely crack down on illegal and criminal activities in the hazardous waste environment.
