News from our newspaper (Reporter Zhu Meiqiao) The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs recently held a national promotion meeting on the mechanization of primary processing of agricultural products

The meeting pointed out that in a new stage of mechanization-led agricultural production in China, reducing losses and improving quality to ensure the effective supply of agricultural products, adding value and enriching farmers to improve the value chain and industrial chain of agricultural products, and saving labor and cost to ensure the sustainable development of advantageous and characteristic industries, the mechanization of primary processing of agricultural products was proposed.

The meeting requested that the agricultural and rural departments in all regions should put the mechanization of the primary processing of agricultural products in an important position, do a solid job in investigation and research and top-level design, and strengthen departmental collaboration, industry mobilization, and work linkage to form a joint force

Promote the establishment and implementation of relevant support policies for purchasing machines, land and electricity, and actively support the inclusion of complete sets of facilities and equipment for the primary processing of agricultural products into the pilot scope of subsidies for the purchase of new agricultural machinery products
