In order to help doctors at all levels quickly grasp the key content of the "Consensus 2021" and apply it to clinical practice, under the guidance of the expert group of the Vascular Cognitive Impairment Branch of the Chinese Stroke Association and the support of the "medical community" media, the "Consensus 2021" national The online lecture tour (Huazhong Station) was successfully held on July 30, 2022, and was chaired by Professor Zhang Jiewen of Henan Provincial People's Hospital and Professor Zhu Suiqiang of Tongji Hospital Affiliated to Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
In the first half of the meeting, Professor Zhang Zhaohui from People's Hospital of Wuhan University took the lead in sharing the diagnosis and treatment strategies for mental and behavioral symptoms associated with dementia from five aspects: disease epidemiology, pathogenesis, clinical manifestations, clinical evaluation, and clinical management.
Later, Professor Qu Qiumin from the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University explained the diagnosis and treatment methods of late-onset PSCI, pointing out that improving brain microcirculation and protecting the blood-brain barrier may be an important strategy for preventing and treating late-onset PSCI, while butylphthalide may be an effective treatment for late-onset PSCI.
The second half of the meeting focused on the application of the consensus content.
