The researchers first determined the genetic evolutionary relationship among the seven species by constructing a phylogenetic tree, principal component analysis and population genetic structure test
    .
The genetic polymorphism, linkage disequilibrium and population history dynamics among different species are quite different (Fig.
    2)

Species Genetic Polymorphism and Population History Dynamics Analysis

Afterwards, the researchers assessed the harmful mutation load in each species
    .
The results showed that there were significant differences in the purifying selection efficiency of deleterious mutations among species, and the smaller the effective population, the weaker the ability to clear deleterious mutations ( Fig

    .

    Species genome-level genetic load test

Finally, the researchers used different methods to detect and assess the magnitude of genomic introgression across species
    .
The results showed that the interspecific relationship has a topology structure with different weights in different regions of the genome (Fig.

    4A-B ).

In order to further analyze the determinants that affect the retention of the introgression site at the genome level and the degree of the introgression signal after the occurrence of hybrid introgression (Fig.
5), the researchers calculated and compared the intraspecific nucleotides between the introgression region and the background region of the genome.

Polymorphism, interspecific genetic differentiation, genetic recombination rate, deleterious mutation load, adaptive introgression signal and other characteristics, found that the genetic load was lower in introgressed regions, and introgression was more likely to occur in regions with high recombination rates
