Recently, the internationally renowned journal Nature Communications published an online publication titled “ Environmental eustress modulates β-ARs/CCL2 axis to induce anti-tumor immunity and sensitize immunotherapy against liver cancer ” by Professor Wang Hui and Researcher Li Xiaoguang of the School of Public Health, Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine.
Psychological (social psychological) factors are one of the important types of environmental factors
Liver cancer is one of the most common types of gastrointestinal malignancies.
In order to answer this scientific question, Wang Hui and Li Xiaoguang’s team established a variety of liver cancer induction models and subcutaneous xenograft animal models, and stimulated the benign psychological stress of mice through the classic model of Enriched environment (EE)
In early studies, the research team found that CCL2, as a major immunosuppressive regulator, is highly expressed in human liver cancer tissues and is an independent risk factor that affects the prognosis of liver cancer patients
