After 10 days of field investigation, the comprehensive investigation of natural resources of wild animals and plants in 2010 Qinghai Lake Reserve has been completed successfully recently This comprehensive investigation, which involves many subjects and fields, is of great practical significance to the scientific research and protection of Qinghai Lake The comprehensive investigation of natural resources of wild animals and plants in Qinghai Lake has been carried out for 4 years since 2007 The contents of this natural resources survey are respectively related to bird resources survey, vegetation sample monitoring, monitoring of key endangered species, wetland survey, land use survey of Qinghai Lake, etc., which are jointly completed by Qinghai Lake National Nature Reserve and Qinghai Lake joint research base of Chinese Academy of Sciences In the investigation of bird resources, the investigation team recorded 57 species of waterbirds in 8 families The monitoring of key endangered species mainly focused on the investigation of two species of Proctor antelope and black necked Crane, which recorded 14 Proctor antelope populations, 696 Proctor antelope individuals, 6 Black necked Crane distribution points and 28 black necked Crane individuals In the monitoring of 14 vegetation sample plots, the information of vegetation community type and composition, species category, vegetation coverage, species frequency, ground biomass and grass yield were measured The distribution and area of land use in Qinghai Lake, such as grassland, cultivated land, converted land, urban land, desertification land and so on, were measured.
