A few days ago, the National Federation of Urban Farmers and Trade Centers and the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Commerce organized a meeting to publicize and implement the Beijing local standards of "Community Vegetable Market Setup and Management Specifications"

Lay the foundation for the comprehensive upgrade of the vegetable market

The community vegetable market is provided by the market operator with fixed booths (including booths, special rooms, etc.

The "Management Specification" requires that in terms of site selection, it should comply with the overall construction plan of Beijing and the layout plan of commercial outlets, and comply with relevant regulations on transportation, environmental protection, fire protection, sanitation, etc.

The "Management Norms" also clearly stipulates the improvement of service quality, requiring the establishment of a management office to handle consumer disputes and complaints

It is reported that the "Administrative Regulations" were revised by the National Federation of Urban Farmers and Trade Centers, approved and published by the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Market Supervision on March 29, and officially implemented on July 1

A relevant person from the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Commerce said that the guiding role of financial funds will be brought into play to encourage market operators and social enterprises to actively participate in the upgrading and reconstruction work, so as to realize the double improvement of the city’s community vegetable market in terms of “face value and connotation” as soon as possible

Make "vegetable basket" food safety traceable

In terms of food safety, the "Management Regulations" clearly stipulates that live livestock and poultry should not be operated on the site, and food stalls should be set up to separate raw and cooked food; fresh food and other food; prepackaged food and bulk food.

According to the requirements of the "Management Specifications", cooked food, pickles, seasonings, brand franchised foods, halal foods and foods that need to be processed on-site should be operated in a special room.

In terms of retail processing, the "Management Standards" require that bulk vegetables should be sold clean before they are put on the counter
