Farm Hannong, South Korea's leading agrochemical producer, said on Tuesday that the company's new herbicide, Terrad'or, has been registered
in Brazil, the world's largest crop protection market.
Chinese Terrad'or has been registered for use in Brazil's three major crops: beans, corn and coffee, and plans to go on sale
in the South American country in the second half of next year.

Terrad'or inhibits the formation of chlorophyll in weeds, produces reactive oxygen species, destroys cells, and has a fast
    weeding control effect.
In addition, it is harmless to humans or animals, so it can be used
    safely.
    It can effectively control weeds
    resistant to glyphosate and glufosinate.
Single-use before planting produces excellent control results, resulting in savings in tillage costs
    .
The company explained that Terrad'or weeding is fast and strong, and has excellent rain resistance, which can maintain a stable weeding effect
    even on rainy days.

    Terrad'or is an herbicide
jointly developed by Fuamu Hannong and the Korea Chemical Technology Research Institute with the support of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.
Fu Ah Mu Hannong has obtained Terrad'or patents in 29 countries including the United States, Japan, China, and Australia, and has performed satisfactorily
in target countries such as the United States, Australia, Brazil and South Asian countries.
With the new herbicide, Terrad'or, Fuamu Hannong is targeting Brazil's $11 billion plant protection market
    .
The registration of Terrad'or in Brazil began preparations in 2018 and was completed
    in 2022.

Choi Hak-yong, executive in charge of Fu'a's overseas business in Korea, said: "We plan to expand our business to neighboring countries
such as Paraguay and Uruguay using the registration of Terrad'or in Brazil, the world's largest agricultural country.
