Conference and Academic Report of the Diabetes Nutrition Branch of the Chinese Academy of Nutrition was held on December 22, 2017 at the Sixth People's Hospital affiliated with Shanghai Jiao Jiao university. Professor Huang Guowei, Vice Chairman of the Organizational Working Committee of the Chinese Nutrition Society, Shi Yunjie of the Organization and Member Development Department of the Chinese Nutrition Society, director of the Clinical Nutrition Department from all over the country and member of the Nutrition Society attended the meeting on behalf of more than 50 people.

The preparatory process of the Diabetes Nutrition Branch was introduced by the Director of the Clinical Nutrition Department of the Sixth People's Hospital affiliated with Shanghai Jiaozhou University. Director Ge said that the Diabetes Nutrition Branch was produced on the basis of the China Diabetes Nutrition Working Group, with the main task of regulating the nutritional treatment of diabetes and spreading diabetes nutrition science as the main tasks of the group, in order to further reduce the incidence of diabetes in China.
