May 21 is the second "International Tea Day".
This standard formulation is under the guidance of the Cross-Strait Tea Industry Exchange Association, led by the new tea brand Naixue Tea, and cooperated with the Tea Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, the Hangzhou Tea Research Institute of the All-China Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives, and the Tea Research Institute of Zhejiang University.
Introduced 8 refined standards for 5 categories of products
According to reports, the standard formulation is divided into three batches.
Taking the most popular fresh fruit tea and fresh milk tea as examples, the "Standard" subdivides the fresh fruit tea into "fresh fruit tea", "comprehensive fruit tea" and "fruit tea" according to the added fruit or processed fruit products.
After the release of the first batch of "Standards", the formulation of the second batch of product manufacturing process (method) standards and the third batch of product raw material standards will also be gradually advanced to promote the gradual improvement of new-style tea industry standards and promote new-style tea.
Standardized development requires concerted efforts
"Nowadays, the traditional tea industry is 'old trees grow new branches', and new tea drinks are favored and popular among young people in a more fashionable and novel form.
In fact, before 2019, there was no specific normative standard for ready-made tea in China, and consumer associations in various places could only comprehensively refer to GB 2760-2014 "National Food Safety Standard for the Use of Food Additives" and GB/T 21733-2008 "Tea Beverages,
In 2019, the United Nations General Assembly designated May 21 each year as "International Tea Day"
Relevant data show that in the past five years, the annual registration volume of tea-related enterprises in China has shown a significant year-on-year upward trend
However, due to the absence of relevant standards, the rapid development of the industry has led to market confusion and uneven product quality
Under the active promotion of various units, the "Standard" was officially approved by the Cross-Strait Tea Industry Exchange Association in January this year, and was officially launched on February 4
