    Sponsored by the Nutrition Translational Medicine Branch of the Chinese Nutrition Society and the General Military Nutrition Medical Professional Committee, the first Academic Conference on Nutritional Translational Medicine and the 10th Professional Committee of Nutritional Medicine of the Army, hosted by chongqing Nutrition Society and the Third Military Medical University, was successfully held in Chongqing from June 10 to 12, 2016, with more than 380 experts and representatives from relevant fields at home and abroad participating in the conference. Chairman Yang Yuexin, Deputy Director of food safety standards and risk monitoring and evaluation department of the National Health and Family Planning Commission Zhang Zhiqiang, Vice Chairman of the National Advisory Committee on Nutritional Food Yang Xiaoguang, Director Liu Yunqiu of the Civil Society Organization Administration of the Chongqing Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau, Vice Chairman Cheng Wei of the Chongqing Science and Technology Association, Vice Chairman of the Society Sun Changxuan, Vice Chairman of Guo Changjiang, congratulated the meeting. Academician Wang Zhengguo of the Third Military Medical University, Vice President Wang Yungui and Minister Huang Chunji of the Ministry of Scientific Research attended the conference. This conference is a rare academic event in China's nutrition circles in recent years, the conference has a high academic level and rich report content.
