In order to do a good job in the review of the Fishery Law of the People's Republic of China (Revised Draft), the Ministry of Justice recently organized and held an expert discussion meeting to listen to the opinions and suggestions
of relevant experts.
"The fishery law is the fundamental law in the field of fishery, and the current fishery law is no longer suitable for the needs
of industrial development and management.
" At the expert discussion meeting of the "Fishery Law of the People's Republic of China (Revised Draft)", Liu Xinzhong, director of the Fishery Administration Bureau of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, said that the revision of the Fishery Law is very urgent, and he hopes that the participating experts will give full play to their professional advantages to optimize and improve the draft amendment to the Fishery
Law.
It is understood that expert demonstration is a key link in the revision of the Fishery Law, and it is also an important way to promote scientific and democratic legislation and improve the quality of
the amendment.
During the meeting, Huang Yi, director of the Fourth Legislative Bureau of the Ministry of Justice, introduced
the main contents, basic considerations and drafting process of the revised draft of the Fishery Law.
Seven experts in fishery and law-related fields believe that the current draft revision of the fishery law has a clear system and detailed content, fully considers the actual needs of fishery development and management, and is generally relatively mature.
At the same time, the participating experts also put forward suggestions
for further optimization and improvement of the draft revision of the Fishery Law from the perspectives of industrial development, law enforcement and supervision, and legislative technology, focusing on the new situation, new problems and challenges facing fishery management.
In the next step, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs will cooperate with the Ministry of Justice to further revise and improve the draft amendment to the Fishery Law, and accelerate the revision of
the Fishery Law in accordance with legislative procedures.
