It is understood that Qingdao Huada Gene, as a "star enterprise" in the Qingdao Free Trade Zone, has achieved "zero" national and even global "zero" in many fields such as life and health, ocean management, and advanced manufacturing since its establishment in 2016.

Wang Jian, co-founder and chairman of Huada Group, said: “The projects that Qingdao Huada has completed in the past five years to cover the livelihoods of millions of people are milestone benchmarking events in China and the world, and have solved more than 200 families.

According to reports, the country’s first genetic technology industry development community was jointly initiated and established by more than 70 genetic scientific research, industrial and financial institutions at home and abroad, including BGI, and promoted genetic technology, funds, and talents through the establishment of a global genetic science and industry alliance.

In the next five years, Qingdao BGI will be committed to building a community of life and health, tackling key problems in the frontier scientific field, and supporting scientific research and development with advanced manufacturing technology to benefit human health

At present, the Sino-German Ecological Park in Qingdao Free Trade Zone has initially formed a life and health industry ecosystem featuring genetic technology.
