For these patients in the post-hospital rehabilitation period, on the one hand, to control the risk of tumor recurrence, but also to maintain the appropriate nutritional status of patients, in order to improve the effectiveness of comprehensive treatment, and improve the quality of life and survival rate of patients., there is still a lack of nutrition management standards for such patients at home and abroad. In a considerable number of cases, nutritional management of such patients is still lacking or unreasonable. This affects the clinical outcomes of such patients to some extent, including the potential to increase the risk of complications, increase re-entry rates, increase medical costs, and reduce their quality of life and survival rates.To this end, the Chinese Nutrition Society organized the establishment of the "Consensus of Experts on Nutrition Management of Patients in the Rehabilitation of Malignant Tumors" working group, led by Professor Yu Kang of the Nutrition Department of Beijing Concord Hospital, in cooperation with the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences Cancer Hospital, Peking University Cancer Hospital, Hebei Medical University Affiliated Hospital, Zhejiang Medical University affiliated second hospital and other units, in accordance with the principles of evidence-based medicine, select the best evidence at present, after repeated discussion and revision, and finally formed the consensus.This consensus is the first nutritional management expert consensus for patients in the rehabilitation period of malignant tumors in China, which provides nutrition management standards and pathways based on evidence-based medical basis, nutrition screening and evaluation, energy and nutrient supply, dietary patterns, nutrient supplements, nutritional support and exercise and psychological rehabilitation.can be used for reference by doctors, nurses, nutrition (medical) teachers, oncology nutrition education and health management professionals at all levels, and has a certain guiding significance for patients and their families during the recovery period of malignant tumors.
