Argentine Agriculture Minister Juan José Bahillo signed an agreement worth about $100,000 with Tierra del Fuego, Antarctica and South Atlantic islands to promote the development and health management of mussels and other bivalve molluscs, and implement early warning plans (PAT)
in the face of events that may be harmful to human health.

Through financing, it is desirable to provide greater support to modular plants (CEMs) with proper traceability of production, increasing the value of marine toxins and microbiology laboratories, aiming to achieve autonomy in identifying marine toxins that may pose a threat to human health, in addition to seeking to increase the efficiency of achieving this and obtaining appropriate equipment
