The Avista News Agency of Tajikistan reported on August 24 that according to the Tajikistan Ministry of Agriculture, as of August 19, 2022, the sown area of grain in Tajikistan was 304,700 hectares, and the actual harvested area was 268,200 hectares
.
Of these, Khatlon Oblast is 137,400 hectares, Sorget Oblast is 84,000 hectares, Central District is 45,600 hectares, Gorno-BadakhShanzhou is 660 hectares, Dushanbe City is 585 hectares, and grain production is 852,200 tons, of which wheat production is 696,400 tons
