September 6, 2010 - The ANZ Food Standards Agency (FSANZ) recently invited interested parties to comment on the draft national food standards to ensure product safety in the seed germination industry and approve applications for Saccharin (Advantame) as a high-strength sweetener.
FSANZ has food safety regulations in place for other major industries, known as primary production and processing standards.
