On the afternoon of November 15, the strategic consulting seminar jointly held by the College of Plant Science and Technology and the School of Economics and Management was held in the B308 conference room of the third comprehensive building, and Chen Guoshun, secretary of the Party Committee of the Academy of Economics and Management, Li Gucheng, dean, Zhu Longfu, president of the Academy of Plant Sciences, and more than 30 scientists, core members and team leaders from the two colleges attended the meeting

Zhu Longfu said that the report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China made decisions and deployments on comprehensively promoting rural revitalization and accelerating the construction of an agricultural power, and proposed to strengthen strategic consultation
on science and technology.
The conference invited scientists and backbone experts of the national modern agricultural industry technology system of the two colleges to exchange and discuss, hoping to take this conference as a starting point and opportunity to build a platform for exchanges and cooperation between the two colleges and multiple disciplines, better serve China's agricultural and rural modernization through interdisciplinary integration, and actively provide Chinese agricultural solutions
to ensure national food security.

Li Gucheng said that the interdisciplinary integration is very necessary, this conference is a cooperative discussion on major topics to adopt the strategy of "soft and hard" strategy, the two sides are committed to combining the "soft science" of the School of Economics and Management who is good at economic and social development research and the "hard science" of the School of Plant Science and Technology is good at data acquisition, product and technology research and development, so as to better serve the major strategic needs of the country and provide new ideas and programs
for China's agricultural and rural development.

Zhang Xianlong proposed that the development of agriculture is not only the production of agricultural products, but also the structural and rational layout
of agricultural products.
The School of Economics and Management is good at conducting research at the macro level, combining the scientific research data obtained by the Institute of Plant Sciences in agricultural production and the industrial problems found, which can put forward reasoned and evidence-based suggestions to the government, which plays an important role
in solving the problems of national and regional agricultural strategic layout.
The solution of these problems will help ensure national food security, improve farmers' production efficiency and protect the ecological environment

He stressed that we need to carry out organized scientific research and strengthen scientific research cooperation, especially young teachers, and need to enter the industry as soon as possible to carry out relevant research

At the meeting, experts and professors such as Cao Yuangui, Zhou Guangsheng, Bian Yinbing, Jiang Daohong, Huang Jianliang and other experts and professors of the Academy of Plant Sciences exchanged views on topics such as the high-quality development of rice field cultivation, the improvement and multi-functional utilization of rapeseed yield and quality, the annual production of rice-mushrooms to improve the utilization rate of straw to promote ecological circulation, and the use of microorganisms to promote the green development of agriculture

to how to transform industrial issues into research topics and then into consulting suggestions.
They suggested that starting from the construction of the basic database, combining natural science and socio-economic issues, centering on the stable scientific research base of the existing team of the Academy of Plant Sciences, radiating to the surroundings, continuing to dig deep into the research data related to agricultural production, jointly building a digital base, and implementing industrial application consulting-driven scientific research construction

The participants unanimously agreed that interdisciplinary research has a positive effect on solving the problem of "three rural areas", and focused on in-depth discussions on resource allocation, industrial layout, ecological construction and policy support in China's agricultural production, and proposed to combine production "hard research" with ideological "soft research", pay attention to practical application, strengthen the construction of interdisciplinary talent teams, continue to improve talent training programs, pool the strength of the two academies, integrate school-enterprise resources, and promote interdisciplinary development

Guo Liang expressed the hope that the two sides can establish a long-term cooperation and exchange mechanism and results sharing mechanism

He proposed that the two sides can jointly carry out strategic seminars and academic report exchange meetings on a regular basis, set up special funding funds, solicit cooperation guidelines, carry out in-depth substantive cross-cooperation research in the form of project establishment, combine the advantages of the Institute of Plant Sciences in agricultural industry research with the expertise of the School of Economics and Management in agricultural economics and policy research, and provide consulting reports
for major national and regional strategic decisions.

Chen Guoshun concluded that the two academies have a good foundation for cooperation, and the interdisciplinary research discussed by experts and scholars is a key means to respond to major national strategic development issues, and the two sides have reached a consensus in serving the major national strategy, which can not only promote the development of disciplines and the improvement of teachers' research level, but also highlight the characteristics of
