The 6th National Award for Outstanding Science and Technology Workers was announced - Ma Guansheng and Professor Yu Mantian won the award.

National Award for Outstanding Science and Technology Workers has been awarded by the Chinese Association of Science and Technology and has been held five times to reward front-line science and technology workers who can promote the development of disciplines, have innovative results and make outstanding contributions to science and technology work.
