The 5th World Selenium Capital (Enshi) Selenium Products Expo --- "Selenium and Great Healthy Development International Summit Forum" was successfully held.

September 26-28, 2018, the Chinese Nutrition Society as one of the organizers of the 5th World Selenium (Enshi) Selenium Products Expo held successfully in Enshi, the theme of the selenium Expo is "Healthy China selenium world." Enshi is the "world selenium capital China selenium valley", unique selenium resource advantages in China and favorable conditions for industrial development, in 2016, the Chinese Nutrition Society and the Enshi Autonomous Region People's Government signed a "strategic cooperation agreement on the development of selenium industry", in July 2017, the Chinese Nutrition Society set up "China Nutrition Society selenium resources and nutrition industry development committee." Through the International Summit Forum on Selenium and GreatEr Health Development, the Chinese Nutrition Society will further strengthen academic exchanges on selenium health at home and abroad, combine the needs of the development of the nutrition and food industry, give full play to the expert team, key professional and technical service capabilities, information channels, and so on, continue to carry out basic research on selenium and the transformation and application of selenium processing technology, provide scientific and technological advice for the development of selenium resources and nutritional health industry in Selenium-rich areas of China, promote the integration of production and research, and promote regional economic development.
