The 2015 DSM Colorful Science and Technology --- Awards for Young Chinese Scholars.

DSM Science and Technology Awards have been held in Europe for more than two decades. The 2015 DSM Colorful Science and Technology Awards were awarded to China for the second time, in close cooperation with the Chinese Academy of Nutrition, and jointly awarded outstanding young scholars in the field of nutrition science.are nominated for doctoral students and recent doctoral degrees in domestic universities. Nominated research must focus on innovative research in the field of nutritional --- the basis or type of application. After the pre-selection committee's examination, four scholars were shortlisted for the final round and invited to participate in the "China Nutrition Society and DSM Young Scholars Symposium" held in Beijing on May 17-18, the 12th National Nutrition Science Congress of the Chinese Nutrition Society, and give a speech.. On 17 May, Dr. Marcel Wubbolts, Chief Technology Officer of the Royal DSM, presented the award to Dr. Zheng.study conducted by Dr. Cheng Yusheng showed that genotypes in the human body have important effects on the relationship between nutrients and disease. His research reveals why ingestion of omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids reduces the risk of type 2 diabetes and makes an important contribution to the emerging field of nutrition-gene interaction, which is important for the development of nutrition..
