DSM Science and Technology Awards have been held in Europe for more than two decades. On 17 May, Dr. Marcel Wubbolts, Chief Technology Officer of the Royal DSM, presented the award to Dr. Zheng.study conducted by Dr. Cheng Yusheng showed that genotypes in the human body have important effects on the relationship between nutrients and disease. His research reveals why ingestion of omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids reduces the risk of type 2 diabetes and makes an important contribution to the emerging field of nutrition-gene interaction, which is important for the development of nutrition..
