from the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives of Thailand on April 24, Alongkorn, an adviser to the minister, said that according to the Thailand-China Fruit Import and Export Agreement, a new era of railway transportation of fruits in Thailand has been opened
.
Today, the largest batch of 500 tons of Thai durian

heads was
transported and exported through the "China-Laos Railway Line" , and it has successfully arrived in China .
This is a "rail-land" hybrid transportation system, which shortens the transportation time by one and a half days .
The durians, which were "tested for illegal and contaminated plant diseases", were transported by new container trucks from Chanthaburi province, Thailand, in a total of 27 containers .

Earlier this month, after we tested two boxes of durians and one box of coconuts successfully exported to China, we expanded our transportation to export other fruits and agricultural products, such as: mangosteen, longan, rice, rubber, cassava, sugar, mango, etc.
Following the successful export of the first batch of durians to China by rail, the second batch of durians exported by rail is expected to be dispatched next week .
