Is gender related to the clinical manifestations and prognosis of systemic lupus erythematosus? Compare and see! Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is an autoimmune disease with multiple systems and multiple organs involved.incidence rate is about 75/10 million in China. There is a significant gender difference in incidence. The ratio between men and women is about 1:9.in a domestic study, 1839 cases of SLE patients of childbearing age admitted to our hospital were retrospectively analyzed, and the clinical characteristics of SLE patients of childbearing age of different genders were discussed.it has important clinical significance for early detection and diagnosis of SLE, active control of disease activity and progress, improvement of survival rate and reduction of mortality.References: 1.
