Strengthening Risk Management and Improving the Supply Guarantee System of Important Agricultural Products

Guaranteeing the supply and price of important agricultural products such as grain is the ballast and foundation for stabilizing the economy, society and the overall situation

Strengthening and improving the construction of the supply guarantee system for important agricultural products has a more important and special significance in the new stage when China is facing various severe and complex natural risks, social risks and emerging risk challenges, especially at the critical juncture of the current response to the new crown pneumonia epidemic

First, there is a lack of synergy between agricultural product supply guarantee and emergency management

Second, the supply guarantee mechanism for agricultural products needs to be improved urgently

Third, the effectiveness of agricultural supply guarantee policies needs to be further improved

In the current and future journey of promoting the building of a powerful modern socialist country, facing the risks and challenges of great changes unseen in a century, it is necessary to further understand and ensure national food security and important agricultural products from the perspective of safeguarding national security and maintaining long-term stability of the country.

First, improve the risk management ability of important agricultural product supply guarantee

Second, we will further promote the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy, and take ensuring the effective supply of agricultural products as a prominent task

Third, further improve the emergency management system, and establish an efficient coordination mechanism for agricultural product supply guarantee and emergency management

Fourth, we should promptly study and formulate a medium- and long-term strategy for ensuring the supply of agricultural products in China
