Recently, the County Agricultural Law Enforcement Brigade of Daying County organized law enforcement officers to conduct a dragnet investigation of agricultural material operating markets and stores in 11 villages and towns across the county
.
The aim is to further strengthen the supervision and management of pesticides, standardize the production, operation and use of pesticides, effectively protect the legitimate rights and interests of farmers, and severely crack down on illegal production and sale of counterfeit and inferior pesticides and illegal operations and use of restricted highly toxic pesticides to ensure agricultural production safety
.
According to law enforcement officers, from the current inspections, the overall condition is good, and all stores can strictly implement the pesticide management of "municipal access and county-level filing", and no banned and restricted pesticides such as paraquat have been found on the market
.
However, some outstanding problems have also been found: First, the pesticide display signs are not standardized, and the purchase and sales account is not sound
.
Second, the operation of expired pesticides still exists
.
Third, some pesticide registration certificate numbers are still in use without renewal after expiration
.
The inspection team issued rectification notices to 6 problematic stores, ordered rectification within a time limit, and filed a case for one store operating in violation of regulations for further processing
