On December 28, the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) of South Korea issued Notice No. 2020-128, amending parts of the Codex Alimentarius, the main contents of which are as follows: 1. Change the limit for the production of thyrobacterium from "≤100/g (sterilized products are negative)" to "n-5" for pickles, pickled foods, sugar-cured foods, canned goods, vinegar, compound flavored foods, and curries. c=2, m=100, M=1,000 (the sterilization product is n=5, c=0, m=0/25g)".
2. Modify the microbial limits in coffee.
3. Change the arsenic limit in fish oil to the inorganic arsenic limit.
4. Modify the list of food ingredients.
5. The new setting and modification of 27 pesticide residue limit standards, such as enemy grass fast.
6. The new setting and modification of the residual limit standards for four veterinary drugs, such as methyltriginone.
7. Modify the general test methodology.
