On October 16, 2007, Korea enacted a pharmaceutical law to comply with the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between Korea and the United States and to protect patents relating to the application and supplementation of new drugsThe contents include: patent information ondrugapproved in the list of registered patents, and disclosure to the public, a notice of application to confirm the application containing data on the safety and efficacy of the product signed in the patent list, patent litigation within 30 days of receipt of the above notice, and trial approval of the patent owner in cases of patent infringement or patent invalidity
