It was learned on February 18 that "a treatment method for improving the germination of myrtle seeds in tissue culture and reducing the pollution rate" completed by Deng Shulin of the South China Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences was authorized by the national invention patent (patent number: ZL202010500496.
The invention includes the following steps: ( 1 ) seed pretreatment: the peeled myrtle seeds are sterilized with a bactericidal solution, washed with water and then dried; ( 2 ) seed soaking: the pretreated seeds in step ( 1 ) are sequentially treated with CaCl 2 soaked in aqueous solution and gibberellin aqueous solution, washed with water and then dried; ( 3 ) wet sand treatment: mix the soaked seeds obtained in step ( 2 ) with wet river sand, and stack at 0~8 ℃; ( 4 ) the seeds without Bacteria treatment: the seeds after wet sand treatment obtained in step ( 3 ) were washed with water, disinfected with ethanol aqueous solution, mercuric chloride aqueous solution and sodium hypochlorite aqueous solution in sequence, and washed with water after each disinfection; ( 5 ) germination culture: finally, step ( 4 ) ) obtained aseptically treated seeds were dried and cultured in a medium .
