In order to ensure the food safety of the people, in recent years, the Shizhong District Agriculture Bureau has actively increased the monitoring of agricultural products according to different seasonal nodes, key varieties and key parts, and carried out on-site sampling inspections on various vegetables, fruits, planting bases and enterprises on a regular and irregular basis.
Strengthen source supervision, do a good job in agricultural product quality and safety inspections with high standards, and timely warning and forecasting the safety situation of agricultural products, so as to ensure that the people of the region can eat safe and assured agricultural products

In the first half of 2016 only, the District Agriculture Bureau took samples of more than 630 kinds of vegetables and edible fungi from various agricultural product production bases, new farmers’ main bodies, farmers’ professional cooperatives, and rural market trade markets and other production and sales units for high-toxicity and high-residue samples.
Sampling and testing of residues of prohibited and restricted pesticides, quantitative and qualitative tests have not found the use of prohibited and restricted pesticides, ensuring that the general public can eat assured agricultural products
