    On October 21, the Shanxi Food Industry Association adopted the "offline + online" video conference mode and organized experts to review the first "Shanxi Vinegar Classification" group standard (hereinafter referred to as the "Standard") (draft for review
    ) in our province.
    Experts from the Provincial Food Association, the Provincial Vinegar Association, the Provincial Food Research Institute, and the Shanxi Old Vinegar Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance and representatives of vinegar enterprises nearly 20 people participated in the review
    of the "Standard (Draft for Review) through the "on-site + video" synchronous meeting.
     
    The Standard (Draft for Review) was jointly submitted by Shanxi Food Industry Association, Shanxi Vinegar Industry Association and Shanxi Old Aged Vinegar Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance in August 2019, and jointly drafted
    by ten vinegar enterprises, including Zilin Vinegar Industry, Water Tower Vinegar Industry, Old Aged Vinegar Group, Ninghuafu Yiyuanqing Vinegar Industry, Dengshan Jing Brewing Company, Yuanyuan Vinegar Industry, Shanhe Vinegar Industry, Qingquan Vinegar Industry, Orchid Brewing Company, and Liu Lao Feng Er Vinegar Industry.
    In accordance with the principle of combining legality, advancedness, scientificity and practicality, the Standard (Draft for Review) mainly stipulates
    the terms, definitions and product classification of Shanxi vinegar.
     
    At the meeting, the expert group reviewed the standard text and related materials item by item, and conducted rigorous consultation and discussion
    on the drafting of each article.
    The expert group unanimously agreed that the "Standard" (draft for review) complies with GB/T 1.
    1 "Guidelines for Standardization Work" and "Shanxi Food Industry Association Group Standards Management Measures", fills the gap of the current national standards and industry standards, meets the needs of industry development and market demand, and plays an important role in promoting the development of Shanxi vinegar industry, and agrees that the standard will pass the review

    In recent years, with the rapid development of Shanxi vinegar industry, the current relevant standards can no longer meet the needs of industrial development, and it is imperative to accurately classify and formulate standards for Shanxi vinegar products
    .
    Since the application for preparation in August 2019, the Shanxi Food Industry Association has led the three major industries in our province to design and formulate the "Shanxi Vinegar Classification Standard Implementation Instructions", "Questionnaire on the Basic Situation of Vinegar Enterprises in the Province", "Collection Form for the Characteristics of Aged Vinegar Process in Vinegar Enterprises in the Province", and established a standard drafting group
    .
    At the same time, experts were organized to investigate and solicit opinions on large and medium-sized vinegar enterprises in the province involved in this standard, widely referring to similar standards, soliciting the opinions and suggestions of experts, scholars and technicians in the industry, and participating in more than 20 vinegar enterprises
    .
    Subsequently, after more than 3 years, after five times of enterprise research, solicitation of opinions and discussion forums, on the basis of fully collecting industry and market information, the "Standard" (draft for review) was formed, including "Shanxi old vinegar, Shanxi aged vinegar, Shanxi millet vinegar, old aged vinegar, aged vinegar, smoked vinegar, local characteristic vinegar, and other vinegar"
    .
     
    The Standard (Draft for Review) highlights the product and regional characteristics of Shanxi vinegar, takes into account all existing product types of vinegar enterprises and Shanxi local characteristic vinegar categories, and classifies
    brewed vinegar according to the characteristics of raw materials and production technology.
     
    In the next step, the standard drafting working group will revise and improve the Standard (Draft for Review) based on the opinions of the expert group, and will publish it for implementation and publicity
    in November.
    As a basic standard, the release and implementation of the group standard of "Shanxi Vinegar Classification" will provide a basis for the formulation of relevant vinegar process regulations, accelerate the establishment of Shanxi vinegar standardization system, and promote the scientific, standardized and high-quality development of
