TheStanding Committee of the Shanghai Municipal People’s Congress recently reviewed the "Shanghai Safety Production Regulations (Draft)".
The draft requires mines, construction, hazardous chemicals and more dangerous Industries and production and business units with more than 300 employees must establish safety production committees.

Compared with the "Safety Production Law of the People's Republic of China" passed in June 2002, the national "Safety Production Law" requires mines, construction units, production, operation, and storage units of dangerous goods, as well as production of more than 300 employees.

Business units shall set up safety production management agencies or be equipped with full-time safety production management personnel.
