Recently, Professor Delin team of Shanghai Jiao Tong University was invited to publish a review article
entitled "Chemistry and biosynthesis of bacterial polycyclic xanthone natural products" in Natural Product Reports, an authoritative journal in the field of natural products.

Bacterial-derived natural products of polyepoxyanthrazones (also known as futonones) are an important class of natural products

Starting from the structural diversity, this paper is divided into nine categories
according to the molecular skeleton and diverse post-modification characteristics of the natural product of polyepoxy anthrone.
