Recently, Wang Yujie's research group from the School of Physics and Astronomy of Shanghai Jiaotong University published a paper entitled "Connecting packing efficiency of binary hard sphere systems to their intermediate range" in "Physics Review Letters"
The hard ball system is an important model for studying multi-particle systems such as liquids, colloids, and metallic glasses, and has an important position in statistical mechanics and material science research
Wang Yujie’s research team cooperated with Walter Kob of the University of Montpellier in France and Zhang Zhen of Xi’an Jiaotong University to use X-ray tomography to study the three-dimensional structure of doubly dispersed hard spheres with different size ratios and composition ratios
The first authors of the paper are Yuan Houfei, a doctoral student in Wang Yujie's research group, and Zhang Zhen, an assistant professor at Xi’an Jiaotong University.

Wang Yujie's research group and Zhang Huan's research group at the affiliated Ruijin Hospital simulated the metastasis process of gastric cancer cells in the lymph fluid in a liquid environment, and studied their migration through a confocal laser microscope
The first and second authors of the paper are Jiang Jiang and Zeng Zhikun, a doctoral student in the Zhang Huan research group of Ruijin Hospital, and Zeng Zhikun, a doctoral student in the Wang Yujie research group.
