Recently, the Department of Agriculture of Shandong Province issued a notice to arrange for the centralized clean-up and rectification of pesticide production enterprises suspected of violating regulations.
According to the report, during the 32nd China Plant Protection Information Exchange and Pesticide Equipment Fair and the 22nd Shandong Plant Protection Information Exchange and Pesticide Equipment Fair, Shandong Pesticide Inspection Institute organized law enforcement officers from pesticide management agencies in some cities to deal with pesticide companies participating in the exhibition.
The publicity of the exhibition was inspected and it was found that 35 companies violated the "Regulations on Pesticide Management".
The main violations were: claiming to be engaged in the production and operation of pesticides without going through the procedures of national pesticide production regulations and obtaining pesticide registration certificates.
Suspected of making and selling fakes.
The Department of Agriculture of Shandong Province requires all relevant municipal pesticide authorities to organize investigations of companies suspected of violating regulations one by one, carry out key supervision of the products produced by the above-mentioned pesticide manufacturers, and resolutely refrain from publicity of pesticide operations for illegal pesticide products, and strictly investigate and punish production in accordance with the law.
For pesticide products that have not obtained a registration certificate, they shall be transferred to the judicial organs when necessary.
It is necessary to form a written summary of the centralized clean-up and rectification and report to the Provincial Pesticide Inspection Institute by the end of July 2017.
