On June 24, the State Food and Drug Administration published the "Administrative Measures for the Registration of Licensed Pharmacists" (hereinafter referred to as the "Measures")

According to the latest version of the Measures, if a licensed pharmacist obtains the Licensed Pharmacist Registration Certificate by fraud, bribery or other improper means, the License Issuing Department shall revoke the Licensed Pharmacist Registration Certificate and the registration shall not be granted within three years; if a crime is constituted, the relevant registration shall be transferred The department pursues criminal responsibility in accordance with the law

At the same time, the "Practicing Pharmacist Registration Certificate" is strictly prohibited.

For licensed pharmacists who have the above two behaviors, the "Measures" also pointed out that it should be recorded as personal bad information by the drug regulatory department in the national licensed pharmacist registration management information system in a timely manner

Attention of 560,000 licensed pharmacists, don’t “register”

According to data from the National Medical Products Administration Licensed Pharmacist Qualification Certification Center, as of the end of May 2021, the cumulative number of licensed pharmacists nationwide during the validity period was 622,602, and the number of licensed pharmacists registered in drug retail companies was 568,175, accounting for 91.

On November 20 last year, the “Notice on Regulating the Provision and Use of Licensed Pharmacists in Pharmaceutical Retail Enterprises” issued by the State Food and Drug Administration requires that the supervision and inspection of the allocation and on-the-job practice of licensed pharmacists (or pharmaceutical technicians) be strengthened, and they are urged to perform their duties due diligence.

Pharmaceutical retail companies that are not equipped in accordance with regulations and whose rectification is not in place shall be investigated and dealt with in accordance with the law, and administrative measures such as suspension of the sale of prescription drugs shall be adopted

The verified "certified" licensed pharmacists shall be entered into the national registered management information system for licensed pharmacists, their registration certificates shall be revoked and resolutely exposed; the "certified" licensed pharmacists shall also be included in the credit management "blacklist", and multi-departmental joint punishment shall be implemented
