São Tomé and Príncipe State TV reported on November 9 that on behalf of the São Tomé and Príncipe government, São Tomé and Príncipe received 100,000 kilograms of wheat flour and 100,000 liters of vegetable oil donated by the Serbian Embassy in São Tomé and Príncipe to help the people of São Tomé and Príncipe cope with food shortages and inflation
caused by the Russian-Ukrainian crisis.
In July 2021, the São Tomé and Príncipe government signed the General Cooperation Agreement and the Visa Exemption Agreement for Diplomatic and Service Passports with Serbia
