Guan Jinghui, former secretary-general of the Central Propaganda Department, said that the fear of aging has spawned a large-scale anti-aging consumer market, promoted the development of the "silver economy", and expanded the elderly industry and service consumption.

Huang Xinwang, deputy secretary-general of the China Food and Drug Enterprise Quality and Safety Promotion Association, said that the anti-aging food and drug industry is not only a health industry with Chinese characteristics, but also a carrier of national culture

Regarding how to develop the anti-aging food and drug industry and improve the nutritional and health status of the elderly, Xu Jiao, director of the Food and Nutrition Division of the Department of Food Safety Standards and Monitoring and Evaluation of the National Health and Health Commission, suggested that it is necessary to build a new model among medical and health care, food industry, and consumers.
