Chairman Yang Yuexin of the Chinese Nutrition Society attended the meeting, which was chaired by researcher Xiang Xuesong, the person in charge of the Chinese Nutrition Society's group standard "Specifications for the Labeling of Glycemic Index of Prepackaged Foods"
The meeting first introduced and interpreted the health industry standard WS/T 652-2019 "Methods for the determination of food glycemic index", emphasizing that the generation of GI data requires strict implementation of the regulations in the standard
