    Wang Qi, executive chairman of the China Alcoholic Drinks Association, Zhang Puguang, secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Food Science and Nutritional Engineering, China Agricultural University, and Liu Yan, director of the alcohol procurement and sales department of the Consumer Products Division of JD Retail Group, attended the event


    Wang Qi pointed out in his speech that the wine industry has encountered great challenges and difficulties due to the impact of the new crown pneumonia epidemic last year.


    In this context, wine is an important starting point for the rural revitalization strategy and an important industry that practices the "two mountains" theory.


    Wang Qi pointed out that the current development of China's wine industry should insist on doing three things well:

    The first is to insist on the application and popularization of the Chinese wine appraisal system


    The second is to adhere to the cultivation of Chinese wine culture and strengthen consumers' awareness of Chinese wine culture


    The third is to focus on improving the cost-effectiveness of products while ensuring product quality, so that more consumers have access to high-quality and high-priced wines, so as to jointly expand the wine category market, and the industry will develop further


    Wang Qi introduced that in 2019 and 2020, the association and JD.


    Liu Yan, director of the wine procurement and sales department of the Consumer Products Division of JD Retail Group, expressed the hope that with the support of the Wine China Evaluation System, the JD platform can deliver high-quality wines to consumers in a simpler and clearer way, and promote consumers to understand consumption, and promote the healthy development of the industry


    At the meeting, Duan Changqing, chief scientist of the National Grape Industry Technology System and director of the China Wine Technology Committee, and Li Demei, deputy director of the China Wine Technology Committee, made relevant explanations on the wine evaluation system in China.
