    From imported products to middle-class favorites, the popularity of salmon in China is inseparable from two countries: Norway, the originator of the mountain, and Chile, which came later


    In Europe and the United States and other markets, more than 70% of products are sold to retail channels, and about 30% are sold to catering.


    From the first half of 2021, as the impact of the epidemic gradually weakens, the Chinese salmon market rebounds rapidly, and the development will further enter the high-speed channel


    The "Report" shows that 85% of the imported salmon in the Chinese market is mainly chilled, and more than 90% of the imported products are mainly whole fish.


    For consumers, a more intuitive feeling is that in the past, salmon had to go to high-end buffets, five-star hotels, and boutique Japanese food stores, but now salmon can be bought home at any time for you to play


    So who is buying salmon in the domestic market? The "Report" collected more than 1,000 questionnaires from nearly 50 first-tier, new first-tier, and second-tier cities.


      For this group of consumers, the requirements for ingredients are self-evident


      Among the driving factors of salmon consumption, deliciousness is the first priority, and nutrition and health are also important considerations


      More importantly, for this group of consumers, salmon is not only a combination of some fat, protein and mineral elements, but also an ingredient that "brings happiness", and is the source of consumers seeking a high-nutrition, healthy lifestyle and high-end quality.
