[Global Coatings Network News] According to the ICIS website May 17th in Moscow, according to MRC's data analysis report, in the first four months of 2019, Russian polypropylene (PP) imports fell by 7% year-on-year, of which homopolymer polypropylene fell.
However, with the increase in the supply of propylene polymers at all levels, the import volume of polypropylene entering the Russian market in April increased from 13,900 tons a month ago to 18,700 tons.
However, compared with 62,000 tons in the same period last year, the total amount of polypropylene imported by Russia from January to April this year has decreased to 57,900 tons.
Except for atactic polypropylene, the import volume of propylene polymers at all levels has declined, and the most significant decline is in homopolymer polypropylene.
However, imports of homopolymer polypropylene in April increased to 6,300 tons from 5,600 tons a month ago.
In the first four months of 2019, Russia imported about 18,900 tons of homopolymer polypropylene, compared with 21,000 tons in the same period last year.
