    11 (Sputnik) -- Russia's exports of fish products to China in 2022 exceeded pre-pandemic levels in 2019 by 16%,
    the press service of the Russian Federal Service for Veterinary and Plant Health Surveillance told Sputnik.
     
    The bureau noted that the value of Russian exports of fish products to China in 2022 exceeded the record data of 2019 by 16.

    to China.
     
    "The signing of the supplementary provisions on the quarantine of wheat and barley with the General Administration of Customs of China on February 4, 2022 is the most important and long-awaited event

    The bureau pointed out that since only spring wheat and spring barley are currently allowed to be exported to the Chinese market, in 2022 the Russian Veterinary and Plant Health Supervision Service launched the procedure for allowing winter wheat and winter barley to enter the Chinese market, drafted the technical information required for the plant inspection risk analysis and assessment procedure, and submitted it to the Chinese side for consideration

    In October 2022, China also signed a protocol
    on phytosanitary requirements for the export of Russian peas to China.
    On December 21, 2022, the list
    of Russian enterprises approved to export peas to China was announced.
     
    According to the Russian Veterinary and Plant Health Surveillance Service, "The list includes 110 pea enterprises
    from 11 regions of Russia.
