Moscow, Dec.
30 (Sputnik) -- Dmitry Isachenkov, director of business development at Ladoga, a large Russian liquor distributor and importer, told Sputnik that the taste of alcohol chosen by Russians has not changed much this year, and vodka and sparkling wine remain the most popular alcoholic beverages
on the New Year's table.

Isachenkov said: "The structure of purchases this year is not much
different from previous years.
As before, sparkling wine and vodka will be the most popular alcohol on the Russian table, while 90% will be local Russian liquor, which is associated with
the withdrawal of world brands from the Russian market.
”

He noted that the whisky market is the most affected, as the withdrawal of world brands of this type of liquor from the Russian market is most obvious
