Science and Technology Daily, Moscow, September 6 (Reporter Dong Yingbi) The Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology in Moscow, Russia, and Saratov State University have collaborated to develop a new method of showing blood flow in cerebral blood vessels
It is well known that in order to better understand the blood supply mechanism of the brain, it is necessary to draw a diagram of the blood vessel network.
Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology Maxim Kurochinkin said that the new method they developed is based on a combination of optical microscopy and image processing, and does not require the use of colorants
Kurochinkin said that in order to prove the efficiency of the method, the researchers used two biological models: mouse brain and chicken embryo
Kurochinkin also said that the new method can better understand the physiological properties of endothelial cells
