Recently, the West Muskmelon Cultivation and Physiology Innovation Team of Zhengzhou Institute of Fruit Research , Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences has explored the accumulation mode and gene transcription regulation network of watermelon fruit flavor-related metabolites during the fruit development process, which is a good way to improve the flavor of watermelon fruits and select high-quality varieties.
Watermelon fruit flavor is the sum of the interaction between taste and aroma.
