Abstract: Now people are paying more and more attention to the weather resistance of materials, such as the comprehensive damage caused by light, cold and heat, wind and rain, bacteria, etc.

With the improvement of people's requirements for life, the weather resistance of coatings has become one of the basis for evaluating the performance of coatings.

This article mainly summarizes the mechanism characteristics, development trends, inspection methods, protective measures, etc.

That is to study various super weather resistance and environmental protection coatings, which are used in various industries to extend the service life of various equipment.

1 Introduction

After many years of development, coating technology in our country has developed rapidly.

The further increase in the requirements of the social environment and the increased pressure on resources have forced us to increase the service life of paint and minimize the consumption of resources.

Coatings are generally composed of base materials.

When considering the relationship between the base materials used in the formulation, enhancing the force between the coating and the workpiece can effectively reduce the degree of corrosion of the workpiece.

(3) Outdoor accelerated aging test method: This method mainly uses the instrument to rotate with the sun to simulate the situation of southward exposure at 45℃.
The device also needs to be equipped with a water spray tube to periodically spray distilled water on the coating surface at night to further accelerate The aging process.

(4) Boiled test method: This is a test method for the weather resistance of powder coatings, that is, the pressure cooker method is used to evaluate, the additives are used in the step test method, grouped, and the experimental data is collected to obtain the water resistance.
